Ahhhh, I love a shoot day. A chance to get really creative with your fellow wedding suppliers under a guiding concept to see everyone's visions pulled together. These sneak peaks are from back in May where I took part in a shoot at new venue Warseley Park Estate, all managed by the incredible team at Hall & Co.
For the cake, I decided to go for a ruffled edge to the tiers to keep that movement and softness at the forefront. I then paired this with some painted on buttercream texture to add depth and colour using a neutral palette of soft blush, khaki and cream tones.
I sourced the finishing touches of dried flowers from The Baked Flower Bar and a Habotai Plant Died Ribbon from Silken Ribbons to oull the whole look together and I am so happy with the final outcome. There is something very natural and relaxed about the look I think, whilst it still looks grand enough to make a statement as a wedding cake. What do you think?
Have a little look through these images for some inspiration and styling ideas and let me know what you think. Isn't the table set-up just the absolute dreamiest?
