So you have your menu down, your guests have rsvp'd and the date is closing in.

Everything is in hand but you fancy dialling in on the cosy Autumn vibe just a little bit more. Well, then what you need is some seasonal styling inspo. Scroll down for some fun ideas to really bring in this season of change.

Think harvest, think hibernate, think soft light and cosy nooks.

Right, let's get to it...

Style up the table with miniature squash

Mini pumpkins and squash are abundant at this time of the year and on top of not being pricey at all, you can work them into your tablescape or general decor and then they can be eaten too so double win and no waste!

Pair it back and go neutral

Autumn really comes into it's own with the natural, neutral colour ways so lean into this and pair back the trimings. Soft oatmeal linen napkins, bare wooden tables, and off white/cream candles for the table is all you need to be bang on trend for the next little while. DREEEEEEEEAMY.

Don't have candles? String up the fairy lights instead for the same soft glow which will gently bounce the light around and create a deliciously cosy feel.

Hit them with candlelight perfection

Candles, candles and more candles. I am a huge fan of a few central tapered table candles, off-set with some low level back lighting for a small, intimate autumn dinner party but it depending on the mood you are going for. You could opt for some potted chunky candles on mantels instead if you want the table clear of other styling or food.

Bring the outside in

Foliage in keeping with your colour scheme is a great way to incorporate some texture and interest too. What about creating some hand made leaf table names - grab some wide and dry leaves from the garden and write your guests names in looping scriptive text using an acrylic marker.

A step easier? Leave them blank and tie in those beautiful tonal leaves with your napkin placements instead and let everyone choose their own seat.
